What makes this “card to wallet” entertaining is that Terry interjects a lot of humor into his routine. After all, you are burning a spectator’s bill?? I’m sure what inspired Terry was how to light the bill. So he got a cake pan
went to a machine shop, and asked them to cut a circular pattern around the inside of the pan. The removed insert could then be placed back on the tray from the top.
So, to introduce the tray, he asks a spectator to hold out his hand and hold the tray. As the spectator extends his hand, the spectators see him with the pan in one hand, and the metal insert rolled up his arm. This bit of humor brought the house down. And the ensuing laughter was so strong that he did this same routine each time he performed his wallet effect. So, if it is that good, and he writes it up in a book with a picture of the effect on the fly leaf, it’s gotta be not just “good”, but “outstanding” in terms of audience reaction.
